Dr. Edder Rabadán Santana received his Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, Germany. Previously he obtained his M.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from Kharkov Aviation Institute -National Aerospace University of Ukraine – and his B.S in Aeronautical Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico.

Presently Edder is a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication (FSTC) of the University of Luxembourg (UL). He has been teaching the course of Fluid Mechanics at UL and since 2017 he is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy of the UK. Heis currently leading an educational CubeSat satellite project with engineering students at the UL. His research interests include propulsion systems, space systems engineering, spacecraft thermal management, computational fluid dynamics, and ISRU.
