Keiko Shimazu received Ph.D in Media and Policy in 1995 and Ph.D in Systems Engineering in 2005 from Keio University. She is a professor of AIIT (Advanced Industrial Institution of Technology). She has been with a project of emergency information Services via GNSS signals for 6 years, especially has been with a joint project of Emergency Warning Services via GNSS signals between her and Galileo/EGNOS Applications, DG GROW, European Commission, for last 2 years. She had been with JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) as an administrative
engineer, before present position.
